Your personal people choosing you to be their photographer is always the ultimate compliment. In my personal world, we all know various photographers, all of them amazing. So when one of my favorite people messaged me to come help them with a birthday photo session, of course, I jumped and said yes, and I got to photograph him with his puppy girl, Nala.
Alan Luna walked into our lives when he was 20 years old, and when my daughter began her All-Star cheer career. He was her very first coach, and we love him dearly. He is an amazing athlete and teaches his athletes to practice as they would perform. He makes sure all his athletes feel seen, heard, and valued. To say we have been blessed with him in our lives is truly an understatement. I can’t wait to see what this upcoming trip around the sun has in store for him, because he will conquer it all with dignity and grace. Alan is fierce, kind, caring, and stays true to himself and his values. He is a world traveler and will tell you that you don’t need to plan a trip with other people to enjoy your time traveling. Traveling for him is his own form of self-care, where he can be at peace with himself without the chaos of everyday life weighing him down. He has told me that it is his favorite way to reset.
